Erecenia is a graduate of Michigan State University with a BA in Communication. She is currently the Business Manager of the Michigan Council for the Social Studies, and also serves as Manager of the new AMR Conferences Division.
Erecenia has worked in the nonprofit sector for six years. She has experience in fund development, grant writing, event planning, volunteer coordination and association management. Ms. Friday is working to obtain a dual Masters Degree in Philanthropic Studies and Nonprofit Management.
Erecenia is the mother of one-year-old Ashley Jane. She and her sidekick, Ashley, enjoy antique shopping, Ethiopian cuisine, screaming at the top of their lungs and large picture books.
