Kay Fitzpatrick, CAE named Executive Director of the Technology Institute for Music Educators (TI:ME)

The Technology Institute for Music Educators, a non-profit corporation, recently contracted with AMR/UCI for the services of Kay Fitzpatrick, CAE to serve as its Executive Director. TI:ME's mission is to assist music educators in applying technology to improve teaching and learning in music, and currently has over 800 members worldwide. TI:ME recently partnered with the Michigan Music Conference, also managed by Fitzpatrick, to provide a technology focused pre-conference event.

TI:ME includes 7 state chapters and a new chapter in Singpore. It conducts courses for music educators who wish to be certified in music technology. Fitzpatrick will not only manage the operations of TI:ME, but guide volunteers who produce one national conference and two regional conferences.

Illinois Association of Nurse Anesthetists joins AMR/UCI

The Illinois Association of Nurse Anesthetists -- comprised of 1200+ Illinois-based members -- recently joined the family of AMR/UCI clients. The move for IANA involved the closing of its suburban Chicago office, and engaging AMR/UCI in the management of its professional association business affairs.

Recommendations from leaders of the Michigan Association of Nurse Anesthetists (MANA) to IANA regarding the effectiveness and value of the management services it has been receiving from AMR/UCI over the past nine years led to IANA's selection of AMR/UCI as its management company.

Bob Barba, Senior V/P and Principal of AMR/UCI, will act as the association manager for both state groups. He has been the MANA client manager for nearly eight years.
